Clubs, Organizations and Departments are encouraged to tap into their creative juices to decorate a pumpkin for the Library’s Annual Contest. It opens on Monday, Oct. 21 and winners will be announced on Friday, Oct. 25.
New to this year’s contest is an online presentation of the pumpkins on display. Once we receive pumpkins, we will post pictures and voting trends for all to see. But don’t let that stop you from visiting the library to place your cash vote or to purchase a pumpkin! The winner will receive a trophy!
Some tips to consider….
It’s better to use artificial pumpkins rather than real pumpkins. We have learned the hard way that if the entire surface of a real pumpkin is painted, the pumpkin can’t breathe, and it can implode.
Student Life can provide the clubs/individuals with decorating supplies.
