Chicagoans are well aware of the seemingly never ending winter that comes every year. If a groundhog sees his shadow or not winter is still there but its reign is coming to an end. Bats cracking and pop flies being caught is the true sign of spring. When America’s past time starts its time to fire up the grill, call in sick to work, and dewinterize the boat because baseball is back. Before the Cubs or the Sox step onto the frshly cut grass of Wrigley or Gauranteed Rate the Cyclones baseball team will be starting spring for Moraine.
On March 15, head coach Hugh Dennehy will lead the boys into a double header against
Milwaukee Area Technical College. In the hopes of a successful season that will lead to Moraine becoming a good baseball team starting off strong is a great way to do that.
