On Nov. 25, the Lady Cyclones took on Kishwaukee College in what was a continuous one-sided game that resulted in a 110-47 victory.

Mikayla Summey, a sophomore at Moraine Valley, scored the game’s initial points that helped skyrocket them toward their eventual win. Scoring 36 points in just the first quarter, the defense was tenacious when holding Kishwaukee to just nine first quarter points. The Cyclones’ domination continued throughout the whole game as the 63-point success stands as our greatest win this season. With a four-game winning streak, this season is soaring in total points for the Cyclones.

A grand total of eight team players scored throughout the game, five conquering double digits. Starters Summey and also sophomore, Lily Hernandez had season highs. Hernandez scored 19 points, going five for six from behind the arc; and Summey scored a game high of 27 points and stacked 13 rebounds. Jadea Johnson, sophomore, added 24 points of her own, contributing to her streak of 20-point games in the last four victories. Shakila Brownlow, sophomore, contributed 11 rebounds of her own.
