The excitement at the start of the game against the Joliet Junior College Wolves carried through to the buzzer at the end of the game. The Cyclones beat the Wolves in a tough game, 74-67 to improve to a 9-1 record.

The game began with starting Forward Dontia Johnson going straight to the net to put the Cyclones up 2-0. Unfortunately, the Wolves responded with 2 back-to-back three-pointers. The Cyclones quickly bounced back, with Trevon Jones (F), Johnson, and Jalen Hughes (G) putting up points to catch up. Vito Calace (G) made a three-point shot at the buzzer to get the Cyclones within 3 points.

The second half of the game was much more productive for the Cyclones offense, with 6 players putting up 41 points collectively. Jones led the team with 11 points in the second half and 17 overall. Ryan Saunders led the team in rebounds with 18 and 7 assists.

The Cyclones went on to face the Trinity Christian College JV Trolls on December 4 and won 103-59; improving to a 10-1 record.
