In need of some last-minute help sorting through how to vote on Election Day? The Moraine Valley political science department has you covered with a panel discussion of races and issues at all levels on Tuesday, Oct. 27.

As the race to Election Day nears the finish line, this in-depth, easily accessible conversation will explore the potential changes that could be right around the corner. The latest in a slate of Democracy Commitment programs aimed at increasing participation among the younger crowd of voters, the 2020 Election Panel will be livestreamed as a free Webex Event at 9:30am Tuesday.

Joined by fellow political science professors Merri Fefles and Deron Schreck, program coordinator Kevin Navratil will lead viewers in a dissection of the much-publicized, high stakes 2020 presidential, House, and Senate races, as well as the Graduated Income Tax Amendment currently on the docket for Illinois residents.

The panel will run for 1 hour and 15 minutes until 10:45am. A Q&A portion of the event can be expected via Webex’s chat feature during the back half of the discussion.
