Join us on Saturday, October 27 as Moraine Valley hosts their 10th annual Halloween 5k run and walk! Given the theme, participants are strongly encouraged to run or walk in costume, including adults! If costumes aren’t your style, Halloween designed t-shirts are another great option. Be sure to sign up at the registration table on the morning of the race to be considered for the costume contest!
Funds raised for this annual event will go towards the Moraine Valley Foundation scholarships. Your participation gives current and future students a chance to afford a college education.
To register, click here or you can register in person the day of the race at Moraine’s main campus in Palos Hills.
The race will begin at 9 a.m. with the Kid’s Dash stepping off approximately at 10:15 a.m.
Enjoy the morning with free family activities during and after the race. FitRec’s youth programming staff will be on site to supervise children’s activities while adults run and walk. Activities include a bounce house, pumpkin decorating, face painting, Halloween activities and more!
