Student Trustee congratulates grads, current students on progress

Hey Cyclones!
I can’t believe it’s the end of the year already!

I just wanted to start off by congratulating our graduates on their graduation on Friday! All your hard work and dedication have paid off. I want to wish you the best in your future
endeavors. You will do great as long as you believe in yourself. Whether you plan on transferring or starting your career, it may be challenging and seem impossible at first, but
you will get the hang of it and accomplish great things. No matter what anyone says, you can do whatever you set your mind to do. I hope that you will think fondly of your time at
Moraine Valley, that those memories will make you smile and remind you of how far you’ve come.

I can imagine for a lot of us, this year brought a lot of laughs, smiles, and even tears. So many different events and moments took place that I personally cherished and hopefully
impacted your time at the college positively as well.

To all the students staying with us pursuing a certificate or degree program, keep pushing forward; you’ve got this!

One more thing: your goals are achievable, and the Moraine Valley community is rooting for your success. If you are coming back in the summer or fall, I can’t wait to welcome you back!
