Hey everyone!
It’s hard to believe we’re already in November! With projects and exams coming up, the five-day Thanksgiving break later this month is the perfect time to recharge or get any
additional work done to catch up. If you are feeling stuck on an assignment, or need some help with writing or studying, check out the Speaking and Writing Center or the Tutoring
Center. They would be more than happy to help you out.

Garrett Weigel
Student Trustee, 2025 – 26
Christian Fellowship and PTK will be hosting Kute Kard for Kids in the U-Building on Wednesday, November 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants can enjoy cookies and hot
chocolate while creating cards that will be given to children in area hospitals over the Thanksgiving holiday. Here is some more information about the event.
Moraine Valley will also host a blood drive on November 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in U111. Please donate if you can as any donation is greatly appreciated and blood is always
needed year-round for hospitals and emergency services.
Lastly, the 2026-2027 FAFSA has been open for a few weeks now, so make sure to get a headstart on it before you forget! This FAFSA is valid from August of 2026 until Summer of
2027.
Hang in there and let’s push through these last few weeks!
