Welcome to the newly improved Glacier website! It is our goal to keep the Moraine Valley community informed through one more site while we continue to stay apart to flatten the curve of the COVID-19 outbreak in the US.
April 6, 2020 marks the beginning of open registration for the Summer 2020 semester. The Executive Board decided that all summer classes will be conducted online. Registration must be online only, as the campus has been shuttered, and campus police is blocking access to all parking lots. No buildings are open, except for the P building where Campus Operations and Police are housed. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ENTER CAMPUS AT THIS TIME.

In addition to registration, there are Financial Aid deadlines approaching. If you have not completed a FAFSA yet, do so this week so that Moraine can access your financial needs. The deadline to apply for Moraine Valley Foundation scholarships has been extended until April 19, 2020. You can apply for all scholarships offered through the Foundation at this link – https://www.morainevalley.edu/cost-and-aid/scholarships/ – and the Foundation will match you with the scholarships for which you are eligible.

Students will also receive their tuition payment due dates through their student e-mail accounts, so be sure to check for your personal due dates. Class that are less than 8 weeks and all non-credit classes must be paid in full at the time of registration. Contact the Cashier’s office for how to make your payments.

Dropping classes
The registrar’s office reminds all enrolled that it is a student’s responsibility to drop a course by the published deadlines found at morainealley.edu/cost-and-aid/tuition. Courses which are dropped within the refund period will not appear on you record. No-shows and truancy do not constitute a dropped course. For more information about refunds and dropped courses, please contact the Cashier’s office at 708-974-5715.
For those eligible to graduate at the end of the Summer 2020 session, you must petition for graduation by June 1. Find the petition form on MVConnect under Registration and Records.
This is an unprecedented time in the history of Moraine Valley, the State of Illinois, the nation and the world. We are fortunate to have the ability to work remotely to help the MVCC community continue with higher education in these days of social distancing.
